This Replica Roman Coliseum is a childs toy that
assembles easily and is 1/87th scale, or HO, so it
is quite large. My grandfather bought this item
for me on my first trip to Italy. I was about 11
years old at the time and am 32 now, so it is
approximately 21 years old. It was purchased for
the equivalent of about $40 US dollars in 1982. So
it was an expensive item at that time. It was
purchased in a small "non-tourist" toy store in the
heart of ROME. I have yet to see anything like it
anywhere since! I have had this since my childhood and usually
keep it boxed up as it does take up a large amount
of space. What you see is what you get. While the
Coliseum was never abused it is old and as such the
plastic itself became brittle so at some point one
of the parts of the main seating in arena broke in
3 places. It has since been glued with super glue
in a few places, though one half is still in need
of mending. There is also one column missing for
the inner supports for the upper seating deck. Also
there is one Wall section missing. Other than that
the unit is complete. Again, this item is sold as is, and is in "Fair"
condition. If you have any questions or comments
or would like more pictures, please email me. The
Coliseum will ship packed in foam via FedEx only.
Insurance and shipping are the responsibility of
the buyer. If I am to ship outside the US, an
                  additional fee will be required.
