Make Me a Millionaire!
|
Here's you're chance to make history
|
Just when you thought you'd seen it all. For sale here is a 1 in a million chance to make me a millionaire. I've set up this auction to sell 1 million $1 payments to make me a millionaire. I am not selling food, so no Grilled Cheeses here. I don't have a tumor named Frank. No, I do not have a breast implant for sale. I am just selling the pure satisfaction of spending a measly buck to make me a millionaire.

|
Like many, I had hoped to be a millionaire by the time I was 18. Of course I have become quite realistic in that crazy goal, and while I have spent every day working harder and harder to achieve that goal, I set my sites on age, 20, then 25, then 30. Well I'm 34 now, and I have still have yet to reach that million dollar mark.
Anyway, I'm an honest guy, with a modest home, a practical used car, a great wife, and beautiful son. Some would say I have it all. I'd have to agree. But 1 Million pictures of our first president would sure be a nice addition to my modest and practical world. |

Simply, click the "Buy It Now" button and complete the sale like normal. You can bid as many times as you want, and of course, you can always Make Me a Millionaire quicker by paying more than a buck, two bucks, 5 bucks, 100 bucks.
So in conclusion, all you need do is complete the auction with Buy It Now, and then pay with PayPal, cashiers check or money order. It's all up to you!
NOTE: There is a slight problem however. Apparently you can only have a maximum quantity of 10000 in any eBay auction. What this means is the buy it now price has to be $100 each in order to reach $1,000,000. I am not asking that you bid on the $100, unless you really want to. I have added a "Submit Best Offer" link below the Buy it Now button. You can simply choose to bid at a buck, or any price above a buck for that matter. Of course the higher the bid, the quicker you Make Me a Millionaire.
UPDATE: Well it appears that the most you can make on an eBay auction listing at a fixed price or buy it now is $100,000. I'm stumped. I have adjusted the listing yet again to adhere to eBay's listing policies. So I have adjusted the auction to $10 per sale X 10000 items. The same idea applies. You can submit an offer of a buck or more. Perhaps we will get lucky and find some larger bids mixed with the $1 bids and hit the 1 million mark.

But what are you selling?
|
Like I said, I am not selling some silly item, like the opportunity to tattoo your business name, or first born kid into my forehead. You are buying nothing more than the chance to make someone a millionaire. What's more, you are doing it in a record 7 days. Think about all the times you have spent a measly buck on something as simple as a lottery ticket, only to find that not only did you not win; you didn't even get a single number.
Redeem yourself. Spend this weeks lottery buck buying a sure thing. Would you really rather bid on a chance to own Brittney Spears used Marlboro cigarette? Or would you rather click the buy it now button in this auction and Make Me a Millionaire. I suppose you could certainly bid on something silly like Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger's used gum. But wouldn't you rather simply send me a buck.
I'm not asking for a hand out here. Seriously. I am selling you the opportunity to Make Me a Millionaire. How many worthless and worthy causes have you carelessly tossed a buck at? You've probably lost more than a dollar discarding pennies at the give a penny take a penny can at the local gas station. |
Will I get anything out of this?
|
Well sure. Aside from the overwhelming satisfaction involved in the good you will have done in making someone a millionaire, I will list all 1 million "Make Me a Millionaire" contributors on my web site in order of contribution no less.
Think about it. What is so bad about making the "average Joe" a millionaire? We make all kinds of other people Millions and even Billions a day. Think about that when you put gas in your tank. Think about that as you pay your insurance bill, all the while watching your agent drive away in his "non-practical car". Think about that when you pay for prescription medication. Perhaps you should think about that when you see all the cheaters and looters at various companies bleeding pension funds dry so they can continue to live in non-practical houses.
Why not make a practical, honest, average person the Millionaire this time? Believe me, you will feel so much better about yourself. |
|
No. Again, you are buying the chance to make me a millionaire Your not donating to a cause. Your are not ridding the world of any diseases, you just making me a millionaire |
|
Aren't there enough stupid and senseless eBay auctions out there already? Why are you creating another one?
I really don't look at it that way. The way I look at it is, what makes a odd (some call them stupid) eBay auction so popular? What makes someone spend close to $17k on a single breast implant, a used one at that? What makes someone spend close to $4k for a wedding dress? Is it shameless self promotion? Could it be ego massage? Are these people nuts?
NO.
They thought of it first. It's an original idea. The unique nature of something so out there seems to have propelled many of these "odd" auctions not only to fabulous riches, but fame as well. Talk shows, TV coverage, radio interviews, the cover of ... well, I am not certain anyone has made it to the cover of a magazine. Heck most of these auctions have ended up as part of the ever growing world that is Golden Palace.
SO.
Is this why you are doing this?
NO.
I just want to be a Millionaire
|
What are you going to do with the money?
|
I still intend to drive my practical used car. I will still live in my modest home. My wife needs a new car, and I'd like to pay off some bills. I would certainly like the piece of mind that goes with a Million dollars. The ultimate goal is to Make Me a Millionaire. |
Still not convinced? Still thinking about it?
|
Go ahead. Live a little. Make Me a Millionaire If you click here it will take top of this page so you can easily use the Buy It Now option to Make Me a Millionaire It can't get any easier than that.
By the way, if you are first time buyer on eBay, this auction includes the First Time Buyer incentive. So if you spend at least $50, you will get $10 off this purchase. So you will get me $50 closer to being a Millionaire, and it will only cost you $40. You can't go wrong with a deal like that!
Thank you and Happy Bidding!
