British Car Show (Sept 8th Des Plains, Il.) An all time record of 752 British cars showed up for the British Car Festival. All though a quickly passing wind storm forced many to leave early, this was by far the best Oakland Community College has seen of British Motorcars. Among the prize winners Howard Phillips 1926 Rolls Royce, (winner of the Peoples Choice Award) far outshined the more than 700 cars.
